1. Trash Humpers (2009)

    Review: One needs to wade through a lot of seemingly pointless unpleasantness to get to the thoughtful moments, but that’s what makes those moments shine. Plus, you have to give it to Korine for remaining unrelenting in his indulgence. Gummo is probably more interesting overall, and an easier watch, but the social commentary here, while overwhelmingly simple, feels genuine.
